Pie

Who doesn't love pie, whether it's apple . . cherry . . peach .  . or chocolate.




Ingredients:

- 2 store bought pie crust dough (thawed)
- 6 to 7 cups of apples (green)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter


Directions:

- preheat the oven to 375F
- Place one of the pie doughs in the pie dish. Bake the pie dough for 8-10 minutes until light brown.
- In a skillet melt the butter and add the chopped apples.
- Then add the cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Cook the apples until they are tender, adding flour as a thickner as needed.
- Then place the apple mixture into the pie dish on top of the pie dough. Place the second pie crust on top of the apples. Cover the pie with foil and bake for another fifteen to twenty minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another five minutes or until golden brown.

 



This is a picture of my girlfriend Kim's delicious peach pie. She makes the BEST peach pie!
